Full house renovation in Sutton
Completed in late 2023, our design and build project in Sutton stands as a testament to modern living redefined. Originally a traditional UK-style semi-detached house with a compartmentalized layout, our team embarked on a journey to revolutionize its space and functionality.
Central to our approach was the transformation of the ground floor into an open-concept oasis. By seamlessly integrating the hallway into the living room and connecting it to the adjacent dining area and newly opened kitchen, we unlocked the full potential of the space. The result is a harmonious flow that encourages interaction and creates a sense of airiness and freedom. The introduction of a bi-fold door in the dining room, which visually extends the living space into the lush garden beyond. This addition not only floods the interior with natural light but also blurs the boundary between inside and outside, offering a seamless transition between the two realms.
Inspired by Japanese design principles, our aesthetic vision marries natural wood finishes with bold accents of black throughout the house. This fusion of elements infuses the space with a sense of sophistication and tranquility, creating an ambiance that is both modern and inviting.
At the heart of the living room stands a bespoke display cabinet, meticulously crafted to serve as both a functional storage solution and a striking focal point. Housing a projector for entertainment purposes and providing ample space for organizing books and miscellaneous items, this piece epitomizes our commitment to marrying form with function.
As we reflect on the completion of this project, we take pride in the transformation achieved and the new possibilities unlocked for modern living.
