This design and build project involved the renovation of a traditional UK house in Battersea, South West London, located close to Battersea Park. The works included a full refurbishment of the kitchen and bathroom, selected interior upgrades, and a complete garden renovation. The aim was to transform the property into a modern and elegant home while maintaining a sense of warmth and timeless character. The kitchen was redesigned with a large central island for everyday meals and social interaction, complemented by a round dining table comfortably seating six. A combination of deep blue cabinetry and natural wood finishes was used to create a modern yet refined atmosphere.
The bathroom was fully reconfigured using grey stone tones paired with black sanitary fittings to create a strong contemporary contrast and a calm, spa-like environment. Externally, the garden was redesigned by removing the existing patio and planting areas and installing a new patio with horizontal timber slat fencing to cover the original brick wall. The result is a clean and modern outdoor space that complements the interior renovation and enhances the overall character of the home.
