Contemporary Apartment Renovation in Rotherhithe, South East London
This project involved the full renovation of an apartment in Rotherhithe, South East London, close to Surrey Quays. The renovation focused on modernising the existing property and making better use of the available space, while creating a clean, warm and contemporary home.
The design follows a natural and contemporary palette, combining warm neutral tones, light timber finishes and simple detailing throughout. The kitchen features matt grey cabinetry, light stone worktops and splashbacks, black accents and integrated lighting, creating a clean and practical space within a relatively compact footprint.
The bathrooms continue the same design language with warm stone-effect tiles, timber vanity units and simple chrome fittings. New flooring, lighting and decoration were introduced throughout, while original details such as the decorative ceiling cornices and entrance hall features were retained to preserve some of the property’s existing character.
The completed renovation brings together practical space planning, contemporary finishes and warmer natural elements to create a comfortable and cohesive London home.
